New Swap Date announced 22 September 2010 in Carlton
Well it’s been a few months since the first CD swap meet happened in Melbourne, and we are happy to announce the next one on the 22 September at the John Curtin Hotel in Carlton.
Come for a night of music, food and beer and of course the swapping of old unloved CDs and DVDs.
Last time we had over 500 CDs – 100 were swapped and the rest have gone off for recycling!
So do the right thing – don’t throw your old CDs in the bin! Come along to the next CD swap meet or hold you own!

Welcome to CD Swap Meet - your place for swapping and recycling CDs in Melbourne
Welcome to CD Swap Meet Melbourne's blog. Here you can get up to date with upcoming swap meets in your area, find out how to organise your own and what to do with your old unwanted CDs.
CD Swap Meets are events that people organise in order to promote the swapping and recycling of CDs. People get together after raiding their CD and DVD collections for all those embarrassing, scratched, old, unloved, dagy and down-right-wrong CDs, then they come to a swap meet and do just that – SWAP! All the left over no-longer-wanted-or-usable CDs will be used to create exciting products as part of the RePlayed range and you get new CDs! And of course we will be recycling all other unswapped CDs.
Make sure you follow this blog, twitter us and facebook be-friend us so that you can stay up-to-date with Melbourne's CD swapping community!
